Found this video on ICHC, and while I was playin' it, one of my two dogs and two of my four cats responded to the yowling of the Siamese in the video. Chopper actually went searching for the yowling cats in the bathroom--I figure she heard the sound of the shower in the background of the clip and recognized that sound as a shower.

I've made something very special for my friend, wirral_bagpuss, for her birthday. I'm so excited about this very special gift that I just have to post it right now, instead of waiting until Sunday.

Last week saw the release of Steve Curtis Chapman's new album 'Beauty Will Rise'. One of the songs on the CD, 'Heaven is the Face', deals with the loss of his adopted daughter several years ago (Link to video on youtube if you want to hear him talk about this song).

If you haven't heard yet, 12 soldiers are dead and an additional 31 are wounded after a soldier went on a rampage in Fort Hood.
I would like share Mark Schultz's "Letters from War" in memory of those 12 soldiers and in honor of the 31 wounded.
