Holy balls, I'm cutting it close this week. ;P
THOUGHTS:
The major thing I want to discuss is obviously Altlivia and how she's such a different person. When we glimpsed the tiny bit of Olivia on the computer screen I actually found myself all :( "Oliiiviiia! I miss you!"
It's brilliant and (as I just read an interview with Anna Torv) intentional the way Altlivia acts at a crime scene. Unlike Olivia she is a follower, not a leader. She's a soldier who takes orders, not someone who dishes them out. I'm hoping that somehow Olivia, Over There, manages to fluctuate enough between her own nature and Altlivia's memories that we see her suddenly take charge in a crime scene. It would be really fun.
Now because suddenly she's in charge and running her own operation, it's great to see her pulling rank on Newton. I especially love this moment:

rightclick5ave Because she looks at the door, she checks to make sure Newton isn't there to see her moment of weakness, before saying "I'm sorry" and pulling the trigger. And I believe her. So many people have seen this moment as somewhat callous, but I think it's extremely genuine and transparent. This is a girl who does because she is told and she doesn't think of the consequences. Suddenly she is in charge and responsible and now she feels it like a leader. She feels it like Olivia? Oh snaps! Excellent work, show!
Another fun thing is that Cortexiphan caused Olivia to have photographic memory? Is that what we're to assume? Because I approve! (Tbh, I always thought Cortexiphan is what made her be such a good shot. Now with Altlivia's sharp-shooting skillz that kinda muddles the theory a little. Whatever, Olivia shoots with two hands and doesn't miss. That's skillz!)
