I have returned
Oooh yes I'm posting a journal lolz.
Right so in December, Aaron and I accepted a flat offered by the council in the City side of Lakenham. We waited ages for the keys until February. We had a nice new kitchen fitted by the council. We had to decorate pretty much from scratch, the only supplement we got was £75 of vouchers from the council for B&Q. So for the past two weeks we've been working our arses off decorating. It's really a lot tiring than you think it is ESPECIALLY when I have to work all day during the week.
So now, after lots of money spent, and my holiday to Canada abolished, we have every room painted except the bathroom, we have a cooker, fridge freezer and a washing machine in the kitchen along with several other bits and bobs for the kitchen.
Trying to order a bed, but Argos is being a little bitch and not letting me order.
Also, this next weekend coming up will be a nice break from it all. Going to Roppongi Street Mission III with great pride that we've been to all 3 so far :P.
March 27th sees the annual trip down to Southampton, to get drunk and be a general pain in the arse. Bobs unite, I say. Again another nice break from it all.
Then at some point next month, we've got Kita con too.
And then I need to go see Lou in Leeds. So lots of money is being spent. Gah.
Fortunately enough, there have been no job cuts at work, and the managers see no forseeable future in the next finance year of us doing so. Phew.
