Uhm...what?
So talking with our escalator/elevator repairing friend yesterday, he mentioned that while doing some work at the mall he was distracted by a kiosk worker who was about 4 months pregnant and wearing a crop top...which I tried to relay to my coworker, just out of amusement. Chaos ensued, see below:
Me: He said it wasn't the best fashion statement he's seen.
Coworker: ...why was she wearing a crock pot?
Me: *somewhat stunned* What?
Coworker: Why was she wearing a crock pot?
Me: No...CROP TOP...not "crock pot". Who wears a crock pot? How can your mind even try to picture that, instead of going "I must have misheard, what does that sound like?"
Coworker: I don't know. I just started to think about those women on the waterfront here who advertise the sailing tours by wearing foam ships on their heads...*accusingly* You /did/ say she was working in a kiosk!
Right. So if any of you see a wearable crock pot, size large, hang on to it for me. I'll be set for her gift in the next Secret Santa swap at Christmas.
