I testified in court yesterday. That's the first time I've been in court since my divorce in 1991, and before that it was either jury duty or when I worked for the school system and had to testify for abuse cases for small students. This was interesting. Naturally, I can't say too much about it because I have to protect the confidentiality of the participants, but I will say that I was happy to be able to use my actual credentials and expertise for a good cause, to be able to sound as if I knew what I was talking about, and could attest to someone's character. It was also satisfying to know that I have been walking the right path professionally and following a course of treatment that concretely provided proof of this person's achievements. Vague, huh?
Work has been pretty much hell otherwise. I don't get paid enough.
