So I checked my Yahoo mail this morning to clear it of all the Freecycle emails, and as I got to the main page, I was greeted with three small, yet important headlines -
Iraqis defy intimidation to vote, attacks kill 31
Iran says it has started cruise missile production
Al-Qaida calls on US Muslims to attack America
What, however, is the MAJOR headline...the one they put at the focal point with the little thumbnail and everything?
3.1M customers face Oscar night without broadcast
So the deaths of some of them DERN BROWN PEEPUL are not even remotely important compared to the fact that some fat-ass lazy shallow Americans MIGHT NOT GET TO WATCH THE OSCARS. SHOCK OF SHOCK, HORROR OF HORRORS. Fuck this country. Seriously. As I said on my Facebook the other day, it's no goddamn wonder everyone hates us. Ugh. I can't even stand to call myself American anymore.
