So I have two jobs.
I hate them.
I'm a freaking shoe person who sorts boxes all day and switches out tags and helps people find shoes in other sizes (I don't mind that so much) and then for the last half hour of every day, without fail, I have to bullshit my way through the rest of my shift.
I'm also a telemarketer. Not really, but I call people for 5 and a half hours (I make like 400 calls a night), try to conduct really super short surveys and NOT sell anything, and get hung up on nine times out of ten. Oh well, it's paying, so I couldn't really care less whether they hang up on me or call me names or tell me they're on the Do-Not-Call list (which, incidentally, doesn't matter because WE AREN'T SELLING ANYTHING thus the law doesn't apply to us), and basically don't give a shit that companies want THEIR opinions to make products THEY use better. People are so thick-headed sometimes. Jeez...I don't know why I'm so hardcore about that...I think I just want to get some freakin' completed surveys!
Anyway, so now my days are basically full, and I don't think I'll get any days off, either. At least I won't request any until after my first paycheck or two, because I have lots of stuff I need to pay off, so I need as many hours as I can get, even if they are ridiculous. See, I usually go to Shopko from 11, 12, or 1 until 5 or 6 (which has to change soon...I can't work til 6 anymore), then go to Issues and Answers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6-11:30 (but I'm thinking about not doing Wednesdays anymore) and then I have to work a weekend shift, so I guess Sunday. I WAS going to do it Saturday and just have weekends off at Shopko but I guess I have to work Saturday there. Which they DIDN'T tell me when they hired me. I didn't even want the damn shoes position, and here they are telling me that "working Saturdays is part of the position". Oh...piss off. I can't wait 'til I can quit one of these jobs...which won't be until July, so I might just stick it out anyway. Argh!!!!
Anyway, it's back to sleep for me--I woke up with Shane (he works 7-3:30...lucky) and now it's time for me to get some much needed rest before noon.
