The weekend was very long but absolutely amazing.

Day 1, I arrived and started working. I spent a lot of time trying to get to know my fellow volunteers and also the Creation staff who work multiple conventions. Another long day of volunteering. It is definitely a different con experience but I really like it. Meeting the behind the scenes people who vendor the items and have been going to these conventions for years is a great time.

My very first Dragon*Con panel was with Eddie McClintock, Saul Rubinek and Tia Carrere. Warehouse 13 was a huge hit at the convention and the stars were especially appreciative of the fans. I have been a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books for a long time but only recently started watching the show, True Blood. It is in many ways very different from the books but I do enjoy it a great deal. The actors who came to Dragon*Con were absolutely lovely. Corin was a blast again at this convention, my first DragonCon. I wasn't sure how much time I'd actually spend with him given that the convention was so huge - 50,000 people!
