The girls new fun thing to do (especially on the weekends) is to get a favorite blanket, throw it on the floor and ride their 'magic carpet.' Sometimes we get a rendition of "A Whole New World" but mostly they wave good bye and tell use "see you later" and tell us where they are going. Usually they fly over to the zoo and when they get Brad or I to join them they point out all the animals they see and ask if we see them. Oddly enough though if I point out an animal that I 'see' they look at me like I just grew a third head. Apparently only they can pretend.
I think I got cool - maybe crazy - mom points this week. I purchased washable finger paints and they painted at home the other day using their Home Depot aprons... pictures to come soon. I also picked glass crayons which we tried out last night. Our back sliding door is the best canvas ever... takes up much less space than an easel and I got my windows washed afterward. I have to say kids creative tools have come a long way and I think I can use them for my advantage.
Anyone have windows they need washing? The girls will clean up after they create their art.
