Pesha's 2006 Wishlist
I've been trying to grant little wishes for people until I decided to post a list of my own. I'll see what I can do for people who want fandom/entertainment sorts of things. Or just mail. I'm good at mail since I write quite a bit and I used to have pen pals in all sorts of countries when I was a teenager. Then I went to college. X_x
I'm hoping to maybe meet some people interested in mailing through the year now.
01. Care packages or just cards
They can just be random collaborations of little things. I'm not too picky and I love making/getting gift packages. My father used to send them to me when I was in college. A book, some little candy items, a weird keyring, fun pens, magnets, and the like. It was always interesting and different to see what he'd pack up next. I love Christmas cards too and post cards with beautiful pictures. There's something feel-good-wonderful about getting mail in the box that isn't asking for money. *laughs*
02. Music
I like interesting music, indie bands, new bands, hard rock, and international music. I don't particularly care for country or rap, but that's about it. I'm totally willing to swap music with people too. I'm a big believer in sharing the love.
03. TV on DVD
I'm a counselor for the criminally insane at a behavioral hospital and I work second shift. TV happens when I'm at work, so I get to DVR things and when I run out of room on the DVR because I don't have time to watch what I've recorded: I watch DVDs. I'm interested in building up a collection so I won't have to bother with commercials ever again. >_>

Believe me, if I can play the disk on my computer or in a standard DVD player, I'll be perfectly thrilled, so I'm okay with burned copies. (That's how I got Six Feet Under anyway since it was too expensive to buy.)
04. A Friend Who Enjoys DragonLance the series
It's a weird request, but there's a point to it. My grandparents died this year in a car crash and my grandmother was the only person I knew who loved the series the way that I do. Now that she's gone, I don't have anyone to talk the series over with and it's very hard to look at my rather ridiculous collection of DL books and think I'll never share that with someone else again. I'd just like someone interested in babbling about the books from time to time.
05. Supernatural Season One Trading Card Series
I'll take anything at all from that card set since I'm completely in love with the series and I don't even have the base set yet. I'm likely going to devote myself to getting all of it, but right now I don't even have the first card so I'm open to anything at all from the set! I love collectibles and SPN is my hot fandom right now. I think I'd likely die if I got Jensen Ackles's autograph.
06. Black Ice from BPAL's Limited Collection
Actually I'll take anything from BPAL since I really like their scents and think they're just fabulous. The limited collection is very tempting though. I love the smell of winter. I love florals, too, and I've been dying to try the Zombie fragrance since I've heard it's very nice, but I'm buying for other people for Christmas now so I'm not getting myself anything right now.
07. Fanfiction
I'm a hardcore advocate for Supernatural, Harry Potter, BtVS/AtS, Firefly, and Naruto, but I'll read anything if it's edgy or comes very well recommended. I read mostly slash, but I appreciate good hetfic, too. Incest is my kink of choice and I'm very hard to squick.
08. Graphics
I'm currently addicted to SPN and Dean is my favorite character. Strangely, I don't think it's possible to have too many Dean icons so I'm always happy to have some more. I'll take LJ headers too if anyone wants to rec me some or make me one. Pick a fandom I've mentioned. I'm easy and I'm horribly impressed with graphic artists of any kind since I'm completely hopeless at it myself.
09. Erotica collections Excellent recommendations provided by the comm, yo. This is love.
I'm a big fan of short story collections and have loved the Herotica collections (of which I have 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, but I'm missing 2 & 3. 7 was never released due to some kind of issues with offending people.) which were edited by either Susie Bright or Marcy Sheiner depending on the volume. I've read one of those "Best American Erotica _____" but I can't remember which year it was. I'm willing to take recommendations as well if anyone has read any really good collections of erotic fiction and wants to give a shout-out.
10. The Obligatory Gift Certificate
My preference is for Torquere Press whose publications I absolutely adore. I can recommend from their collection fairly highly if anyone is interested in their products.
