Alright Adstringendum, I've taken notice that a lot of you are preparing for Prom, and that most of you are excited for this. [Why it is that you are still baffles him.]
I would like to offer my services. I am willing to teach several of you how to not only dance, but impress everyone else on the dance floor, and above all else, your dancing partner

It is a most lovely dress. I wish you luck bartering it.
These dance lessons, what sort of dancing do you teach? I am well-versed in dance, but I fear what I know is out-of-date, compared to what most people think of as dance.
[Hawke's observation that what she thinks of as dancing doesn't seem like it to him still bothers her slightly.]

Dance never goes 'out-of-date', it just rides the trends. However I am familiar with several styles, such as modern, a little swing, some jazz, but mostly I specialize in formal.

[And those terms go right over her head.]
I have not heard of such dancing before. I fear I may prove the exception to your statement, good sir. I hail from the fifteenth century.
Reply
The fifteenth century? Well. I suppose I'll have my work cut out for me. Would you like the lessons?
I would love to see how you do dance either way though.
Reply
I would indeed, good sir, if you do not mind to teach me. In return, I am able to sew and mend, and, perhaps - perhaps should you need winter clothing - something of my cousin's would suit.
[She's loathe to give up anything Tybalt was fond of, but there are a few things she could part with, if that was deemed a fair price for lessons.]
I would be most happy to show you. Would that my cousin were here still - he was one of the best dancers in all of Verona.
Reply
You don't say? Well, perhaps you can teach me, and then that way I'll be able to see the dance.
One dance lesson for another? [Oh Tieria, forgetting the original intent behind his lessons already.]

[She curtsies.]
I am Juliet Montague. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

When do you like to start learning?
Reply
Lord Erde.
Whenever it would suit you to teach. My schedule, such as it is, can accommodate new activities with ease. Provided you do not wish lessons at the first crow of the rooster.
Reply
Ah, but Milady Montague, wouldn't you wish to dance whilst the sun rises?
But suppose if you wished we could schedule the lessons for some time in the afternoon.
Reply
I would not mind it, but I believe my chickens would protest the disruption to their usual routine.
Afternoon would suit nicely, Lord Erde. Whichever day is most convenient for you.
Reply
Afternoons it is then. Would you be free tomorrow at such a time, Milady?
Reply
I would indeed be free tomorrow, Lord Erde.

[He gives her another bow. Normally he wasn't this proper, but something about the other just brought it out in him. Or maybe he just never had anyone to be proper with... Either way, it was fun.]

I look forward to our meeting, Lord Erde.
