So I'm thinking about doing the tardis_bigbang challenge. Problem is that they require everything be beta'd and that's just foreign to me. I'm not even sure what exactly a "beta" is in this sense. If its proofreading then what's the point? I've seen many a piece posted with 3 or 4 people listed as betas only to be riddled with spelling errors and grammar so poor ( Read more... )
