Apparently the guy I saw last time is on vacation today & tomorrow so I could have gone to see some other random hobo or I could go see the same guy on thursday. So I went with seeing the same guy because the RN suggested that I do that and it lets me put of seeing the doctor without feeling too bad about it :P

I kind of fail at takeing care of myself, which isn't good. Last term I just sort of fucked up (scurvy), but this term I tried and still less than happy time. Insurance has approved me going to see doctor for tomorrow, sadly by the time they approved me going to see doctor, doctor's office was closed sauce so I have to call in the morning.

So I went to the doctors today after having a cough for ~2 weeks. Dealing with insurance (Blue Cross this time) was much faster but actually finding a doctor took a few hours unlike last time. I just bought the require health insurance for next term. I have to decide if I want to be covered beyond that (i.e buy additional health insurance) before the start of my next co-op term. hmms..

Saw doctor, no co-pay (yays!) it was classy times. Doctor thinks that I might have a vitamin C deficiency (which I think is scurvy?). His recommendation is to take vitamin C and B, and if it doesn't clear up in a week call him back.

My insurance covers this, so I don't have to go up to BC to see a doctor :) happy times :) except for the ouch, but now much less stressed out :)

I have two different insurance companies covering me while I'm in the states. One I picked up because it was the minimum required for my to get a Visa to the states, the other I picked up because it covered more stuff.
