It's been awhile since I've written anything in here, so I suppose I should update anyone who cares about things in my life.
SO JET. I sent in my application and it arrived at the embassy in Washington DC. I'm now involved in the whole waiting game that comes with it. I won't hear anything about interviews until mid-January, and since it's not even December yet, I will simply keep it in the back of my mind until then.
AS FOR RIGHT NOW, I'm doing a term paper for Contemporary Korea. I'm on page 6. I need to have at least 10 pages, and footnotes and a bibliography. I haven't made my bibliography or done any footnotes yet, so I guess I can write a good eight pages and then start inserting all that stuff in.
Unfortunately, I still need to finish up my slides for my group's presentation on Egypt tomorrow. I had began working on them last Tuesday, when I was waiting around for three hours, and I was able to nail out a few. There is also another analysis due in the same class, but I can get that done during Contemporary Korea tomorrow.
So what has inspired this particular entry? Perhaps the fact that my class was canceled today, and I didn't see the e-mail last night because I was working on my term paper/going to bed. So I basically traveled all the way to Queens for nothing. I guess I should make the best of it.
