(no subject)
Well, today went very well! I had a good meeting with my advisor, who continues to tell me things like "You have such nice no-bullshit scholarly writing!" and make me squirm with embarrassment. Why does she say this I feel like every word I have typed for this dissertation (that is not transcription) is bullshit. :c SHE IS WAY TOO NICE. But then I went and lazed about in town for a while and tried to read about the monastery of Corbie, but Gottschalk got mentioned like three times so I had to go have feelings instead of reading.
Then I got snacks and went to hang out with the excellent bluestalking and we watched the first twelve episodes of Utena while eating junk food and laughing so hard at innuendo that I, for one, cried. THIS IS THE ONLY LIFE FOR ME.
Now I am home and everything is lovely and really, any day where one's music shuffle brings up "Catch You Catch Me" right after a Dethklok song is a good day.
