(no subject)
I live! I LIIIIIIIIIIVE! I'm just - terrible at posting. Yep. Anyway, my research trip is done and I am home with my XBone again! OH BEAUTIFUL CLEAN GRAPHICS, HOW I MISSED YOU. (Seriously, it is amazing - I never had a bad word to say about Destiny's graphics on the 360, but on the Xbone it is just a whole 'nother world. A SHINY, SHINY WORLD.) Also I accomplished thesis things! Really! I SWEAR. But I got to rank 5 in Iron Banner and got a 317 IB helmet, which I craved, so whatever, that's more interesting than me tearing my hair out over whether something is a useful addition to my bibliography or not.
I also went to a metal concert with lemone on Monday night! Epica, whom I have seen before and who are amazing and great live, plus two opening acts, of which the first we missed due to poor timing. The second group, Moonspell, was from Portugal and pretty fun. I really liked their backdrop image, it was haunting - I mean, the performance was good too, but I could not take my eyes off that image. ANYWAY I came home half-deaf and sore and that is the point of metal concerts, so. \m/
I'm sure I had other things I was going to say but eh.
