I'm still alive, I swear! The snow didn't get me! ... thesis stuff plus Iron Banner: Rift edition did. /o\ At least both are going pretty well? Thesis work is creeping along and I made rank 4 in Iron Banner today, so I think I will continue playing obsessively after dinner and go for an early rank 5 in order to reap the benefits. I was as skeptical as anyone about Rift as an Iron Banner mode, but it's actually working out pretty well for me! Not sure if it has to do with the new matchmaking system or just me getting the hang of Rift (sort of), but it hasn't been the nightmare I feared. Not that you'd be able to tell from opinions at large. XD
I also went to go see a screening of Lazer Team! It was - definitely a Rooster Teeth movie, heh, but I had fun and enjoyed it a lot. So many cute cameos/references! And I laughed way too hard at some parts. ... well, most of the parts.
