Downtown, they have this elevator-esque music playing from speakers on buildings and in bushes. All the time. It's creepy at first, then sort of nice as you walk down the street, but I think it goes back to creepy after a while.
Today I decided that I want do drive down around midnight some night, and walk through empty downtown, while the music blares.
I think it will feel like a horror movie set, and I will more than likely pee myself, but I figure it's an experience I need to have.
You know what else I like? When you're driving somewhere that you go all the time, so much that you don't even realize you drove the entire route when you get there, look around. You'll realize there are neighbourhoods or small plaza's or whatnot that you've never been in. I don't know about you, but if you've lived somewhere over, say, 7 years, when you're showing someone around and you have to say "I don't know what's back there"... that's embarrassing to me.
So if I find I'm running a little early, I turn off of Portage or Fulton, into some neighbourhood, and get lost for a few minutes. It's refreshing.
