I have nothing to do at work. Even though I said I had lots to do in my other post, that's only on the 1st, 15th and end of the month. That's it. All the other days in the month, I ask Melanie (the assistant account manager I report to) if there's any work. Most of the time she'll have stuff for me to do...like analyze financial statements, scan & upload files, research a company, etc., but today she has nothing. Mel doesn't even have much to do herself. It's pretty quiet at GE today. I wonder where everyone is. It feels like a friday but it's not.
I had to prepare a credit report this morning for Mel. I finished that maybe an hour ago. So I've been working on cover letters and updating my resume the entire time. If I keep using the computer and flipping back to the "GE screen", it'll appear to the workers as though I'm busy, but I'm not. I think if I had Word up they wouldn't really notice anything. I could probably post some discussions for my Serial Murder class, except, I don't have my textbook so I can't reference anything.
I've had 3 coffees today. Not too bad. I've been pretty good this week by limiting myself to 2 coffees a day. The co-ops and I went out for lunch today. We wanted to go to the Drake & Firkin, but it was way busy there. We were all tempted to wait so we could have a beer! Man...they even had Stella on tap!!!! :( so sad...instead, we went to wendy's and I had the yummy chicken strips. Hey Norm, it reminded me of our summer days when we were studying for friggin' advanced micro!
It's cold in the office. Maybe I'll go make a cappuccino now.
