cloud seeding to clean Beijing with rain for the Olympics, but most recently, their attempt to induce rain resulted in early snowfall that destroyed crops...the increasingly frequent use is also worrying. Somehow, I get the feeling it has less to do with needing rain, and more on the government's desire to flaunt.
