I've always loved Rose, but like, now, MORE SO. She's just soo bright and shiny, yeah she was kinda bratty especially at first, but hello, she was 19! Rose also grew up without her daddy, who she really misses because her mom tells her awesome stories about him. What she did in "Father's Day" was stupid, but it was something totally understandable, because it was her dad.
Gwen on the other hand...she's suppose to be almost thirty? Already in a position of power and responsibility as a cop? Yeah, less allowances. Plus, while Rose was kicking ass from Day One, Gwen on the other hand Contributed by ranting at the team when they were eating. Like, dude, it wasn't like they were playing a violin or guitar while rome burned and new orleans drowned, YOU NEED TO EAT TO LIVE! Or does she have something against Chinese food?

...and I'm comparing Rose and Gwen, because though they are both main female characters especially loved by the writers...Rose was popular among fans, while Gwen...her approval rating is lower than GWB, relative and alone.
