WART 50: With Peyton Sawyer
Peyt Sawyer here with Wart 50. Yeah, 50. 1 in 50 people get breast cancer before the age of 50. Okay, I know it's a total downer to start with, but let's face it: It's the truth. And that goes up to 1 in 10 people in a lifetime. It's horrible, isn't it? Well, it doesn't have to be! Seriously, it doesn't. My birthmom, Ellie, had breast cancer and before she died we got together a CD called 'Friends With Benefit' to raise money for Cancer Research. It was a tough job to get all the bands to agree, but in the end it was worth it. And she died happy, knowing that, together, we had made a difference.
So, I keep talking about it, and not, like, letting you guys here it. So, I'll shut up and let you enjoy the music.

That was Ellie's favourite song, it's only fair I play it first, you know? Okay, up next is one of my best friends. She really does rock!

Awesome stuff, he's a total inspiration! Okay, next we have our first band to agree to the CD, if it wasn't for them, I'm not sure it would have fallen through!
Nada Surf with Always Love
Next is a band, an awesome band, that have played at my club TRIC quite a few times. And they have this hot bassist, who just happens to be an ex boyfriend of mine. Total amazing guy, great cook.
Fall Out Boy with I've Got a Dark Alley and a Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (summer song)
Okay, I seriously have to talk to Pete. Why does he insist on having such stupid names for his songs? PETE YOU'RE AN IDIOT *laughs* I guess being a big rock star means you can be an idiot.
Another great song from the album is Laura Veirs with Where Gravity is Dead. Total chill out song, great music.
Next up is Hot Hot Heat with Middle of Nowhere. Now that is an awesome song! I love Hot Hot Heat.
Okay, you know how you get those songs that really suit a certain thing. Like when I wake up in the morning I always put on The Cure. Well this next song is my 'going to sleep song'. It's just one of those songs I guess.
Strays Don't Sleep with For Blue Skies
Right, this next one I think is my favourite song on the album. It's one of those songs that everyone can relate to, get lost in, cry to, or smile to. It really depends on how you want to take it. Michelle Featherstone with Coffee and Cigarettes
Next up is an awesome guy. He played at my friend's mom's cafe and totally blew everyone away. It was great when he agreed to do the album. Gavin DeGraw with Jealous Guy
