Dear Miss Palmer,
I know that you were are a friend of Logan Echolls, and I wasn't sure if you had heard what had become of him. If not, then you may want to come see me; if you have, then you know of what I write. I hope that you're well, and please don't hesitate to seek me out if you wish to talk.
Sincerely,
Susan Sto Helit
PS: I'm given to understand that our mysterious mutual acquaintance, Ichimaru Gin, is no longer in residence here. While in some ways it's a bit of a relief to have one less thing to worry about, I find sometimes that I almost miss him. He certainly brought a very unique kind of interesting to the table.
Emma,
I have a matter on which I'd like to hear another lady's opinion -- in particular, a lady of your place and time. Could you oblige? I'll be in the room after lunch today, and if it's convenient, you can find me there.
Thanks,
Susan
