A pox on thee, fruit. To SPARKLYPOO with thee, and go away, you freakish manchild.

...That name is disgusting. *adds a second arrow to his bow, golden with dove feathers again*

I'd advise you to reconsider your vote.

((How do you feel about having Nny fall for Cthulu and vice versa? Only lasts 24 hours. XD If not, I can offer my other two chars - Ryuuji and Sal - or try to contact someone else.))

And so are you, you bastard child of the Sexpot embodiment of the repressed sexual desires of the Greeks.

How about Bitchiwitchi?

((No. No. No. My brain just broke. Ryuuji and Sal might be funny though.))

Again, no. Last chance, oh monster from a hentai anime. *suddenly stricken with inspiration as whom to strike, swings arrows to point at victim*

Try a proper House, and perhaps you won't need to worry about misusing those feelers of yours.

((*snickers* Okay, Sal. He's in the Hat, so he's safest.))

I am a god of insanity, The grandest high priest of the Other Gods, and older than the pathetic race that imagined you, you freakish brat.

I shall not have you in my house. To Sparklypoo, and on the double. Post haste, chip chip cheerio, and all that.

Besides, I can't feel love. Love is a human emotion, and I never need to evolve such feelings.

Hey, Love. So, I was talking to Cthulhu and he's being very obliging about trying to see that you and I get sorted together. I know he was sort of...grouchy...with you, but it'd be good to have him on our side. I don't want to mess with any of your master plans, and I do definitely see the humor potential in having a humanoid infatuated with a giant squid-thing from before time began, but can you keep an eye on things, maybe, so he doesn't get too annoyed?

BTW, some of the matches you've got going already are hilarious.

Darling!

*hugs warmly, arrows instantly pointing towards ground now she's in the vicinity*

...*pouts* Oh, fine, love. If you ask it. *puts arrows back into quiver, brightens up at her compliment* Wait until Valentine's Day, beloved. That's when I'll truly come into my potential.

((OOC: yeah, it'd be good idea to watch out for those arrows, given past...accidents. Not that that didn't work out for the best, but it'd be very bad if Psyche or Eros got scratched by one of the lead-tipped, for example.))

*wreathes arms around his neck and smiles up at him* I'm definitely looking forward to Valentine's. Should be outrageous amounts of fun...

...and by that time we should be all sorted and settled in, and we can probably get away with more.

((*snickers* I know. And incidentally, who are you/how did you find this game? XD I was absolutely stunned to have a Psyche appear out of nowhere for Eros!))

*presses a kiss to her forehead, letting her press herself up against him without objecting in the least* Valentine's always is.

And we'll know the way that people already interact, to pick the most amusing relationships.

((I followed Bertie Wooster over from indeedsir, where I post as innocentsmith. I was laughing my way through the past entries when Eros showed up, and was compelled to jump in as Psyche because OMG OTP!! Like, original OTP! *ahem* Hope you don't mind!))

*beams wickedly* Oh, yes.

((Oh, I don't mind in the least! It's awesome to have a Psyche here, just unexpected. XD I was trying to puzzle over this and figure out who you were all day long. Thank you very much for giving him a Psyche to adore.))

*ruffles her hair* And we'll be together.

((You're very welcome! ...now all I have to do is make sure she doesn't become the World's Most Egregious Mary Sue, what with the oh-so-pretty and the wings and the mortal princessness, and having the God of Love in love with her, and everything. While still being true to the mythology, because...well, that's what Psyche is.

Hm. If you do want to do the accident with a lead arrow thing, which of them would you prefer to have affected? If Eros didn't love her...well, that's pretty much Psyche's worse nightmare, so I'm thinking she'd probably shatter, and/or move heaven and earth to get her hands on another gold arrow to nail him with. Whereas, if she suddenly didn't love him, well, she'd still probably break a bit, because that's more or less her identity, or so she thinks. Of course, Eros would have to have had someone steal the rest of his arrows, or something, or he'd be able to fix her immediately. But I can see her shying away for a little while, trying to figure things out. Either way, it'd require a bit of planning...so ( ... )

((*dying* Best of luck. I'm playing Eros as a very light-hearted, very irresponsible pretty boy without a care in the world. Because that's pretty much what he is, barring the romantic saga with Psyche. Oh, and disrespectful. Being able to make other gods fall for whomever you like really went to his head. XD

Er, no clue. I got blindsided by her sudden appearance and hadn't actually had any intention to make either of them fall out of love with the other. Eros just likes playing with his arrows, like a street punk that messes around with a switchblade. And if we need arrows stolen, I'm expecting a lynch mob to be after Eros on Valentine's Day - or rather, after V-Day- so that could always happen if you want to split them apart. I'm pretty much fine with anything, since I think it's cute how much in love they are but at the same time, I wonder what Eros would do if he didn't have Psyche to love.))

Forever. *promises tenderly, crading her close to him*

((Absolutely, that's what he is. Which makes him fun, especially for this community's purposes. After all, he was a little kid for a long, long time, which probably affects one's outlook on life. Especially if that kid has the power to wreak havoc on his (also very flakey) elders...and have the havoc be merely the result of doing his job...XD One of the many things that makes the "Cupid and Psyche" story my favorite myth, though, is that it gives a little bit more dimension to his character. Of all the gods that you wouldn't expect to be loyal and faithful...and who wouldn't want to think that Love cares most, and only, about the mortal Soul?

And I wasn't thinking about making them split at all till you said that about the arrows and I saw the opportunity for mayhem. Post Valentine's would be ideal for some disgruntled character to swipe his arrows, maybe leaving only the one lead-tipped lying where the rest were, forlorn ( ... )

((I have a little boy icon for him, since I figured he could switch back from adult to child however he likes, as the Greeks usually painted him as fully-grown which is how I'm used to seeing him, except the modern Cupid is a cherub. *nods!* Exactly. I loved that part. Even if Eros gives other people pretty compliments or flirts with them, he's always faithful to Psyche, above all else. A mortal in immortal Olympus, lover of the God of Love... It must have really been interesting for her. XD ( ... )

((I've got a few different icons for Psyche, too. Those Victorians liked to paint them both as little naked winged toddlers, which is...kind of weird, IMHO. I like the idea of Eros changing his apparent age at will, though. Seems very him.

Hm. You know, the funny thing is that the myth doesn't have Psyche ever getting hit with one of the arrows, at least not that we see. So being in love with him is probably kind of her natural state. I wonder if Eros, on the other hand, stratches himself on a regular basis just to stay faithful, and because he really enjoys being in love with her. Now that I think of it, part of her value to him has to be that, in addition to loving him, she adores him (in the sense of worshipping him) beyond any of the other gods. Which has to be really something for him, since probably most of the rest of the Olympians don't take him all that seriously when he's not actively bugging them. Pesky kid ( ... )
