Ryuuji, Seto, Mokuba, open for Ancalagon if he feels like meeting two other dragons. XD

Jun 13, 2006 12:57

Okay. Not many people would be out at this time of night, and it was far enough from the castle that there were unlikely to get interrupted anyway. Ryuuji licked over his lips once, nervously, and settled down again. Seated cross-legged in the grass, he was waiting for Seto and Mokuba to show up, having owled them about starting the Ka summoning ( Read more... )

"Hey Mokie! Nice to see you're all hyped up and happy too." Ryuuji hugged Mokuba tightly in return, both arms going around his younger lookalike and pulled Mokuba to sit down on the ground properly.

Gesturing at the green things, he explained, "Those are energy-containers. Basically, you put energy into an object when you have an excess of it -- like when you're on a sugar high -- and then you can tap into them when you're feeling low. I charged them with my energy so that if you and Seto start getting tired or need a quick boost to try out your Ka's attacks, you can recharge fast."

That said, he ruffled Mokuba's hair and arched an eyebrow at him laughingly, "And I don't think that Seto's likely to start calling me nii-sama or nii-chan, just 'cause he doesn't seem to like the whole respect thing. I wonder how he'd react if I started calling him otouto?"

"But I'm trying to keep the dragon bit quiet!!" Ryuuji protested with a laugh, sticking his tongue out at Seto, then went quiet to let those two talk. Rubbing Mokuba's back lightly, checking to make sure that both of them had dressed properly for the slightly chilled night air, he waited until they were done.

"We can start now! I think that you're going to need to climb off me, though, Mokie." He pouted to show he wasn't happy about that, but loosened his hold on Mokuba to let the younger boy move away. "Sit down next to me? Seto, you too. It's easier if we're in a sort of circle or at least a triangle and able to see each other."

Shifting a little, he waited for Seto and Mokuba to do as he said.

((No worries. And I'm sorry I've been too busy with mod stuff to get to this thread before.))

"It's not meant to be degrading." Ryuuji protested quietly, "It's because I love you ( ... )

Ryuuji could feel the shift in energy from Mokuba, but nothing from Seto so far. Hm. Odd, he would have expected Seto to have the advantage in it because he was the older one and the reincarnated priest-brat, after all.

Eyes still closed, he gave Mokuba's hand a quick squeeze and told him comfortingly, "Nice going. Now, just hold that thought in the back of your mind, and turn around slowly. Don't focus too hard, just put it in the back of your mind, the same way that you're aware of your body. Seto, you keep trying."

If Seto couldn't get the hang of it, Ryuuji could bring out his own Ka to demonstrate to Seto. It was just that he thought it would be better if Seto could manage it on his own first.

"It's not the size that matters. It's how you use it." Ryuuji deadpanned, turning around to snicker softly at the little pegasus licking Mokuba's face. Aww. How adorable.

Helpfully, doing his best to keep his mind out of the gutter, Ryuuji added, "And it'll probably grow as you use it more and duel with it. It should be able to learn and get stronger. Plus, it might have some cool attacks." Yeah. Like Attack of Killer Cuteness which sends people into sugar shock from how damn sweet that little horse looks. It was reminding Ryuuji of Hercules and his baby pegasus, actually ( ... )

"Good idea, Mokie." Ryuuji approved with a quick grin, eyes still closed. Seto's refusal made Ryuuji frown slightly, eyes not opening as he blindly canted his head at the other.

He didn't let go of Seto's hands, though, but kept them within his own as he asked, "Sure? Because I think that it would be useful for you to be able to draw out your Ka. But if you don't want to learn, that's fine. I can give Mokie private lessons on his own."

Ryuuji wasn't going to force anyone to learn, after all. He'd dealt with enough of that from his father and Ryuuji would never, ever be anything like Sindin.

So because of that, Ryuuji opened his eyes and let go.

"...Thank you for your cheerful and friendly assesment of the situation, Seto." Ryuuji told the other cheerily, smiling at him as if totally unaffected by the ice in Seto's tone.

Both hands stuffed into his pockets now, Ryuuji scooted back on the grass and canted his head at Seto, tone still open and warm, "Why didn't you tell me that you could already summon your Ka? That really does make it something of a waste for me to try to teach you the way that I learnt."

With a single-shoulder shrug, Ryuuji encouraged his younger brother, "Go ahead, then. Show us."

Inwardly, he cringed. Why did Seto hate the idea so much when Ryuuji loved it? Brotherhood was awesome. Family was the best thing ever.

Ryuuji wasn't going to set a bad example for Mokuba by quarrelling with Ryuuji.

"..." Ryuuji was not going to laugh. Really.

He'd known that Seto's Ka would be a dragon but female?! That was definitely a surprise, especially considering that outwardly, Ryuuji was the more feminine of the two brothers.

With a flip of his ponytail, he bowed to the dragon, then straighted up, concentrating on his own Ka. "Nice. My turn."

The green-scaled dragon appeared behind Ryuuji, wings flared outwards proudly, long head raised into the air as if he were surveying the terrority. Black eyes, dark from edge to edge, raked over the form of the female dragon, then his Ka roared, the sound loud and fierce, and took to the skies. The twist of his tail was an invitation for her to join him, the clean, black-tipped expanse of the wings flapping strongly to give the dragon enough lift to soar upwards.
