Okay. Not many people would be out at this time of night, and it was far enough from the castle that there were unlikely to get interrupted anyway. Ryuuji licked over his lips once, nervously, and settled down again. Seated cross-legged in the grass, he was waiting for Seto and Mokuba to show up, having owled them about starting the Ka summoning

He didn't say anything more, though, instead twisting over to grin at Mokuba and reach for one of his hands, "Right! Mokie, Seto, both of you give me your hands. I'll be monitoring you and your energy levels thoroughout this to make sure you don't push yourself too far. Once you've done that, close your eyes."
He waited for them to do as he said, then closed his own eyes, taking in a deep breath, then exhaling slowly. When he spoke, his words were soft -- not quiet or hard to hear, but gentle and sure. "Focus on your breathing. Breathe as slowly and deeply as you can. Listen to your heartbeat. Acknowledge it and follow it."
Ryuuji was silent for a while, letting Seto and Mokuba give that a try, then resumed speaking still in that same tone, "Let your mind disfocus so that you can't think of anything except your own body, then imagine yourself as a ball of some color. A gas form. Split that into five parts, and ignore three of those parts. Turn one part into a meter, like a thermometer -- it should be full. Now, empty it slowly. Imagine that as the meter is going down, the other part is growing stronger. Picture it as being behind you. Feed it everything you can from the meter, but if I squeeze your hand, stop."
Ryuuji would be able to tell when their Kas came out. A hand-squeeze would notify them of that, but it would also let him stop them if they tried to feed too much Ba into their Ka.
And hopefully, the visual way he chose to describe it would work for Seto and Mokuba both -- since they were gamers and Seto worked with holographic technology, Seto should have no problem with it, and Mokuba was bright enough as well.
((*hugs and pets* Which one, then? And awww, I wish that I could make one! *misses her PSP* Why math? Wanttobebacksobadlyhateithereevenwhenit'sgoingwell.))

Eyes still closed, he gave Mokuba's hand a quick squeeze and told him comfortingly, "Nice going. Now, just hold that thought in the back of your mind, and turn around slowly. Don't focus too hard, just put it in the back of your mind, the same way that you're aware of your body. Seto, you keep trying."
If Seto couldn't get the hang of it, Ryuuji could bring out his own Ka to demonstrate to Seto. It was just that he thought it would be better if Seto could manage it on his own first.

Helpfully, doing his best to keep his mind out of the gutter, Ryuuji added, "And it'll probably grow as you use it more and duel with it. It should be able to learn and get stronger. Plus, it might have some cool attacks." Yeah. Like Attack of Killer Cuteness which sends people into sugar shock from how damn sweet that little horse looks.
It was reminding Ryuuji of Hercules and his baby pegasus, actually...
But Seto was still concentrating. Ryuuji switched his attention to Seto instead, shifting to kneel in front of him, then caught both of Seto's hands within his own now that Mokuba no longer needed help. Voice quiet but sure, he asked Seto, "Still visualizing? If you're having trouble with it, focus on me instead. Imagine reaching out to me, and touching me, then just focus on what I feel like -- I'll draw out my Ka to show you how it feels by linking us together, okay?"

He didn't let go of Seto's hands, though, but kept them within his own as he asked, "Sure? Because I think that it would be useful for you to be able to draw out your Ka. But if you don't want to learn, that's fine. I can give Mokie private lessons on his own."
Ryuuji wasn't going to force anyone to learn, after all. He'd dealt with enough of that from his father and Ryuuji would never, ever be anything like Sindin.
So because of that, Ryuuji opened his eyes and let go.

Both hands stuffed into his pockets now, Ryuuji scooted back on the grass and canted his head at Seto, tone still open and warm, "Why didn't you tell me that you could already summon your Ka? That really does make it something of a waste for me to try to teach you the way that I learnt."
With a single-shoulder shrug, Ryuuji encouraged his younger brother, "Go ahead, then. Show us."
Inwardly, he cringed. Why did Seto hate the idea so much when Ryuuji loved it? Brotherhood was awesome. Family was the best thing ever.
Ryuuji wasn't going to set a bad example for Mokuba by quarrelling with Ryuuji.

He'd known that Seto's Ka would be a dragon but female?! That was definitely a surprise, especially considering that outwardly, Ryuuji was the more feminine of the two brothers.
With a flip of his ponytail, he bowed to the dragon, then straighted up, concentrating on his own Ka. "Nice. My turn."
The green-scaled dragon appeared behind Ryuuji, wings flared outwards proudly, long head raised into the air as if he were surveying the terrority. Black eyes, dark from edge to edge, raked over the form of the female dragon, then his Ka roared, the sound loud and fierce, and took to the skies. The twist of his tail was an invitation for her to join him, the clean, black-tipped expanse of the wings flapping strongly to give the dragon enough lift to soar upwards.

"..." Ryuuji groaned and put both hands over his face. Voice muffled, he informed Mokuba, "He's showing off."
Spreading his fingers, he peeked out between them at his Ka and Seto's, "Because she's a girl dragon and mine's a boy dragon and boys like to try to impress girls."
