After spending his time kissing Primavera and otherwise spending his time realizing just how utterly lovely she was, Victor decided that he wanted to let the rest of the world know just how much he liked her. That was a really good chocolate. He thought as he walked down the hall. Almost...Tingly. I wonder if I could go get another?

He was just contemplating going back when he collided with someone, sending them both to the ground. He picked himself up before shouting. "Hey, dude! Watch where you're go--" He looked up to see who it was. "Victor! Dude. Sorry! Didn't mean to smash into you like that!" He offered a hand down to Victor.

Victor blinked up at Chase, and reached out to grab the hand. He smiled, friendly-- if there was an y of their normal friction hanging in the air between them, Victor certainly didn't notice it. "Chase! How's it going, chico? Did Gert like you in Nico's clothes?" The last time he'd seen Chase had been at the Masquerade, after all.

Chase helped Victor to his feet.

"Of course she did, man!" He brushed his shoulders off in mock pride. "I am the funny one, after all."

He put a friendly arm around Victor, "so what's new with you, bro? I haven't seen you in ages!"

If Victor had been sober... Well, he wasn't, so he laughed, and leaned a bit into the embrace. "I met the most wonderful girl. I'm going to go build a monument to her. How do you feel about pink neon?" He nudged Chase in the side lightly. "I think she'll love it."

Chase sighed the sigh of a put upon older brother. "Victor, Victor, Victor. You have so much to learn. Luckily, I'm here to help you out." He shook his head. "Women don't much like neon pink. You should go with something a bit...less. Like purple, or green." He thinks for a minute. "But definitely not purple and green, unless this chick is Barney..." He looked worried. "It's...not, right?"

Victor tipped his head back and laughed, delighted. "Piensa usted que estoy loco? I'm not mad, man. Just in love. She's like me. It's PERFECT. A match made in heaven. But... purple hearts? I don't know..." He glanced over at Chase. "I think the brighter the better. So everyone will see!"

He chuckles. This may just be one of those lessons Victor needs to learn the hard way. But, he'll give it one more go. "Think about it, man. What do you think Gert would do if I build her a giant, neon pink anything?"

"Old Lace would use you as a chewtoy," Victor nodded wisely and grinned at the thought. "And then Gert would laugh at you. Or maybe the other way around," he was giving it real thought. "But Primavera isn't Gert! Primavera's so mcuh girlier."

"Oh. Girlier." He shakes his head. "All right then. What if you built it for Karolina?" He paused. "Assuming, of course, she was straight or you were a lesbian."

He had a mental image of Victor as a gay woman robot. He chuckled.

"Karolina likes pastels." Victor cocked his head, eyeing Chase. "And girls. I don't think I'd make a very good girl, do you?" He thought the idea was amusing though, and actually somehow managed to swish his hips without stumbling.

He laughed at Victor's display, wondering if Ultron coded that into Vic's hard drive.

"See? That's it exactly, man. Girly-girls don't like the bright neon colors." He nodded. "Now, what were you thinking of making for this great display of Love?"

((God. I suck. I'm sorry this took so long, but I wasn't getting e-mail notices until...pretty much now. And I suck doubly for using the wrong journal. -_-))

If that was part of Victor's code, Ultron was more evil than anyone had thought! (His shoulders were WAY too broad to make a convincing girl.)

"I... don't know. I was thinkinf of great big hearts. In neon, so I can light them up with MY LOVE FOR HER!" By which he meant his personal electrical field, yes.

Chase just...looks at him.

"Uh...huh."

There's a long pause.

"Maybe something...smaller would be better? That way, she can carry it around with her."

Pausing, the cyborg turned to look at Chase, chewing on his lower lip in thought. "I don't know... I wanted to let everyone know. What do you think I should do?" If anyone who knew them was around to see this... Victor was looking at Chase with a hopeful, trusting expression.

Chase nods, placing a supportive hand on Victor's shoulder. "Definitely smaller. If you make her somethung huge, then she'll think that you've got something to compensate for."

"Oh. OH!" Victor nodded in understanding. "I'm glad you're here. I don't want to make any mistakes, Chase!" He smiled-- he felt so fuzzy and nice. It was good to know he had such a good friend.

Why did some part of him think Chase was acting strange?
