*When the owl drops beside her where she's studying in the Great Hall between classes, Ginny removes the note and small package from it's leg, gives it a bit of one of the biscuits she's been nibbling and sends it off. She doesn't recognize the handwriting on the parchment and opens it, full of curiousity. She's genuinely touched by Maturin's apology as well as by the gift and his thanks for warning River about Voldemort. However, she's not completely sure Harry would be all right with her accepting a gift from another man and thinks she needs to show both the owl, and the gift to him before responding. She opens the vial of perfume and sniffs it, enjoying the fruity and musky aroma, and hopes that Harry says she can keep it, and that he likes it, too.*

((OOC: I think you did a great job choosing a scent for her! The Weasleys probably have fruit trees at The Burrow (though not orange, because of the climate), so something fruity is great, and the hint of musk is probably very suitable for her, as well. And I love the Illyria line!))

Thank you for your very nice apology and the perfume. It smells great and Harry likes it and says I can keep it. No worries about me considering it a romantic gift - I can tell very well from what she's told me that you only have eyes (among other things) for her, and besides, you're an engaged couple now. No need to make amends; I'm just sorry we got off on the wrong foot. Good thing it's all sorted now! This is such a nice apology that I'll even take you off my enemies list.I completely agree with you about River taking lessons with You Know Who. Harry and I don't even take his regular classes because it's just not safe. And with her condition, it's especially not safe for River! It seems You Know Who may have scampered off, which is just such a relief, but I'm sure it's especially a relief to you, as it means River can't take lessons from him any more. River did say she'd join Harry's defense and dueling group, the DA, and I hope you will too. It's much safer than hanging about with Dark Lords
