Down in the owlery, Hermione was back from her vacation from someplace where they apparently don't have calendars. She can be seen frantically writing letters to all the professors. Merlin was in the owlery attending to his owl, just back from delivering a note. *He looks over at the girl and watches her quill move quickly over the parchment* *walks over to the small group of people surrounding her and says* "Hello Ms. ... " *questioning look*

I used to be in Gryffindor with Ron and Harry, but I'm in Ravenclaw this time. It seems we're all winding up in different houses this time around. How has the Ravenclaw house been since I left?

I just got here, but from what I've gathered it's become a house full of drunks. With few exceptions. You noticed the bar I'm sure. Otherwise I think it's quite the same. Havn't had many classes yet. Except for Astronomy. Which classes have you signed up for?

Drunks? I saw the bar, but almost the entire house? One or two people, I can understand. But doesn't everyone know what that much alcohol does to your liver?

I've sent owls off to most of the teachers. I think I'll be taking all of the classes minus Divination.

Yeah. Ravenclaw has become so well known for it's drinking, that people are being sorted into Ravenclaw because they drink. It's almost as key to being sorted into Ravenclaw as choosing Parmesan as your cheese is to being sorted into Slytherin. I'm not usually a drunk, myself. I prefer to keep my wits about me so I can focus on my studies, as I'm sure you understand. I don't see anything wrong with a drink now and then, except for the fact that over time it'll decimate your liver, but these people over do it.
