I'm okay, I suppose, except for being in Slytherin, but at least Harry's in there with me. I've been to a few classes, and they're all right.
So where've you been? Have you gotten back to your dorm at all? You're in Ravenclaw, right?

That said, he'd never actually seen her. At first, he'd simply assumed that she was avoiding him (understandably so, too), but had slowly realized that it probably wasn't so. Other students had missed her as well.
So as he climbs the stairs to the owlry, the LAST thing he expects to see is the familiar line of her calf peeking between modest robes and cute little socks with dragons on them. Socks that he'd sent her for Christmas.
"Her... Hermione? Herminone!"

"Gods, girl! I've been missing you like ruttin' hell! How d'you think I've been doin'?"
He storms up the remaining steps, forgetting the tight wad of letters he'd come to send out. Envelopes and scraps of paper scatter everywhere, and immediately a host of owls descends upon them, gathing them up with talons and beaks and carrying them up to the high reaches of the tower, supposedly for nesting.
Grinning like and idiot, Charlie sweeps Hermione into a hug, then holds her out at arms length, giving her another once-over.
"Where've you been, anyhow? An' why haven't you returned my owls?"
