"What is it?" "It's soooo cool!" A crowd of DETHTOWER Shoggies had gathered about the silver-glittered hand. None of them had approached it too closely yet, and the hand sat amidst a circle of the amorphous horrors. "It's a hand!" Shoggy 15 declared, finally identifying the vaugely familiar item. "It is!" agreed Shoggy 8. "It's definitely a sooo cool hand!" "Soooo cool!" "I've always wanted a hand!" piped Shoggy 6.6. "Me too!" another Shoggy declared, followed by the rest. "Soooo happy!" the Shoggies declared in near-unison.

"We have a hand!" "Or does DETHTOWER have a hand?" Now that the hand was identified, the Shoggies had to figure out what to do with it, and a little debate arose. "It's set here like an offering so maybe it's for Great Master Cthulhoo and we need to take care of it," suggested Shoggy 22. "Maybe it grew there, like a plant," was Shoggy 13 1/3's proposal. Andrew Jackson was flying around, as was his wont. He had tried to attack the new dragon that took up residence around the Hogwarts grounds, but had been repelled by a Roar of Time, so he needed to bide his time.

The Shoggies would provide a distraction. As Andrew Jackson approached, he saw the hand they were guarding.
