He wanted to avoid talking about Yukimura though, otherwise he knew he'd just get angry and, really, Mello didn't deserve his anger. SO he said nothing on being his pet, though he wanted to say that it was actually the other way around. It made him think of how Yukimura had been bound and left to die.

That wasn't the worst thing on his mind right now, but it was something to focus on. His head hurt and he was having trouble remembering what day... hell, what year it was. Other things, too, like details of days he was sure were important, memories of a personal nature, things like that. His head ached if he thought too hard about it, and ached if he didn't.
He grumbled, sat up (why did the air in here smell so stale) and flipped his goggles over his eyes, staring blearily at the darkened room. He thought of nothing. And then he thought it would be a good idea to talk to Mello. He didn't want to worry L with what was probably just a little magical amnesia.
He pulled on a pair of shoes and tromped through the halls distractedly, glancing about for blond hair and too much leather.
