[OOC] Meme time!
Okay, folks, another meme! It's one I've been pondering for a while, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has come across this so...
Characters You'd Like to Play But Can't/Find Difficult to Because...
Basically, you tell us a character you've considered play but would find difficult to impossible to play because of some sort of limitation-physical limitations, lack of characterization, hopelessly meta, characterization centered around another character, toes the RPS line, etc.
Just for fun and all.
Flo, from the Progressive commercials-She sounds like fun, but her entire characterization is 'perky insurance salesperson' and that doesn't translate well to roleplaying.
Cardinal Ximinez, from the Spanish Inquisition (NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!) sketch in Monty Python's Flying Circus-That's pretty much his only schtick, he's unexpected and can't count. Also, I don't think he'd work without at the least Biggles.
Nudge Man, from the Nudge Nudge sketch of the same show-Pretty much similar reasons, he's there to make entendres.
Sebastian Love, from Little Britain-his entire characterization centers on fawning on someone, first the Prime Minister, then the president of the US.
The Nostalgia Critic, from the website That Guy With The Glasses-gets meta (his entire deal's reviewing childhood media), and toes the RPS line, kinda. I could make an arguement on how he's different from his PB, Doug Walker, or pull him specifically from Kickassia, but there's still the meta thing. (Besides, if I go specifically for a Kickassia version of a character, I'd pick Spoony/Dr. Insano.
Finland from Scandinavia and the World-The problem with him is simply that he doesn't talk much, just when he's swearing up a storm or when he's getting dominated by sleeping with Sister Sweden. Sister Finland's worse-she has yet to talk at all.
Jim from Darths and Droids-he's never seen outside roleplaying Qui-Gon and then Padme, plus there's the whole 'roleplaying Star Wars characters that technically do not exist in his world' thing.
ANYONE from Ansem Retort-Working out the logistics, since Ansem Retort is made from Kingdom Hearts sprites, and I know we still have/have had Kingdom Hearts characters. (Or Star Wars or Final Fantasy 7)
