He took his sword and drove it through his hand, then ripped apart the flesh as he tore the blade out between two of his fingers. He held his hand up.
It healed with a flash of blue light. "As you can see," he said, "it never lasted for very long."

Pretty little rabbits were things he found always tasted the sweetest.
He closed the gap between them, raised the sword up above his head and aimed the tip of the sword down at Kaga's shoulder. And then he drove it down, cutting tendon and muscle. Down further, until a good half of the blade was sunken into Kaga's shoulder, and blood was everywhere.
He hoped he'd gotten to the heart.

Pulling out his wand, he pointed and screamed "Incendio!" before falling to the floor.

The scream, the smell of blood and char and cooking flesh alerted it to something Not Right, however. He paled when he made it to the Sorting Room, however. The vaguely human body, still flaming, near Kaga was ignored in favour of Kaga himself, and the blood. He gritted his teeth and skidded to a stop beside him. The sword was still in his shoulder. "Shit Kaga! Breathe, okay, what happened?"

Kusuriyuri had taught Kuronue to heal somewhat, but not enough for this, and not for normal humans. He tried to distract Kaga as he picked him up carefully, trying to get him to forget the pain for the moment. "It's okay, I'll get you out of here. Away from him."

But it was a start.
Once Kuronue got him out of the room, he shifted enough so he could hide his face and screamed into Kuronue's chest once, getting it all out.

He tried to heal him just enough to lessen the blood flow without doing too much damage with his youki, which under normal circumstances did more harm than good in a human. But this was healing energy, like Kusuriyuri had taught him. Still, it would hurt.
