[Open RP] Writing Letters to Santa

Hours after posting the Secret Santa posters, Wishbone realized he hadn't even written his letter to Santa Claus yet! And he's been a good dog!

So in the Great Hall, there were sheets of parchment and quills laying out, so others could write to Santa too.

"You write as well as read, Sir Wishbone?" Yukimura asked coming in from the main hall. He is carrying a bottle of sake though his cup is out of sight.

Well, a little, but the Dictaquill helped me. I signed it myself though! He held up his paw. I've been writing to Santa Claus!

"Santa Claus? This is a friend of yours?" Yukimura asked, reading over the note. "A generous person," he noted.

He's a magical person that delivers toys and treats and gifts to all the good boys and girls and dogs! And I've been a good dog. Wishbone nudged paper to Yukimura. You can write a letter to Santa too! Or you could join the Secret Santa I'm helping with!

Meg hadn't actually properly gotten into the spirit of Christmas yet. She did want to go shopping for gifts, but she didn't have many people to buy things for at Hogwarts, nor did she have any real idea what she herself actually wanted.

But there was something about Wishbone's enthusiasm that called up some excitement in her. She happened to peek at the contents of his letter and made a mental note to add the dog to the list of people she wantedffshop for.

"Writing to Santa?" she asked, dropping into a nearby chair. "That's neat. Do you mind if I join you?"

Sure! That's why I brought tons of paper! And only some of them had pawprints.

Meg sat and picked up a quill. "Are you going to need help with sending all of these letters?" she asked. She hadn't written to Santa in years, and she didn't even know what it was she wanted, but Wishbone's enthusiasm was contageous.

One of the house elves promised to help me. Wishbone danced excitedly.
