The Popping of B, Part Two: The Unpopping of Matt
Beyond stood in front of a kernel of popcorn. Instinctually, he knew that this one represented Mail Jeevas, aka Matt.
"I never even got to apologize to you, did I? I hope this works."
He held out a hand and touched Matt's kernel. In a flash of light, Beyond disappeared, replaced with a redhead smoking a cigarette.
If someone checked the plaque, the name Mail Jeevas would be replaced by Beyond Birthday.
"What? Who?" Matt looked around. "The popcorn room?"
Did he pop?
Mello and Near and L were going to be pissed.
Matt took a long drag on his cigarette.
