Not school, not home, not random city. It's a castle. Either she's dreaming or Konata (Kona-chan) is in an actual RPG. Great!

Anime? An amay? What in the name of Irk was an amay? Whatever it was, this cheese beast of hair mentioned knowing all about it. That fact alone was suspicious enough for Zim to be wary.

"Tell me your secrets!" he was demanding automatically, in a shout, snapping his fingers at Konata. "What is this amay you speak of?!"

"You're probably one of those baseball fans that like it when games run over so that anime schedules are screwed up. How can you not know what anime is? It's everywhere!"

Way to make him MORE paranoid, Kona-chan.

Base...ball? What was she even talking about? "Run over? Run over what? Neighborhoods? Puppies? SMALL CHILDREN! DO THEY RUN OVER SMALL CHILDREN?" Zim was flailing at the air, then, excitedly, before he paused and cleared his throat. "Or possibly large ones."

He took a step closer to Konata, frowning. "I mean of-of course! I know what an amay is." He waved a hand around glancing upward. "We, oh, such amays we have. Back home. They were squishy like a pack of moosh minkies."

"No, they run over bases," Konata answered as if she didn't just freak Zim out. Good thing she never heard of him, that'd just make it worse, I think.

"Squishy? Eh, you could say some of the shoujo is squishy."

OH, GREAT GOBS OF DOOKIE. Run over bases? Run over bases? This was bad! This was so bad! He'd have to up the base's security for this... baseball. "LIAR!" Zim accused back nonetheless, pointing to Konata and widening his eyes

"No, they do it pretty often. And then they tie up and the game goes into extra innings and the latest episode of Persona-trinity soul- is cancelled and I get miffed."

A~and losing interest already. "Eh?" Zim asked, scratching at his head. Innings? Persona... what. She wasn't speaking English anymore, was she? "You! Stop making up words! What is this?" he growled, grasping at the air and scowling.

"I am not making up words! Japanese isn't your first language, is it? All those words are in my language."

Technically, persona is Spanish, I think, and it means something different from how Persona is used in the anime she referred to, but you see her point.

Zim's eyes shifted again, back and forth, all paranoid. Now he just wasn't sure anymore. What was going on? Was his PAK malfunctioning? He had to run a diagnostic, fast. "LOOK!" he screeched, pointing across the room. "WHAT A STRANGE-LOOKING SQUIRREL."

And bolted.
