Eragon pursed his lips a bit. He looked a bit young to be asking such questions but there's an air of leadership about him. He glanced toward the window and smiled a bit as if he was listening to something far off.
"Saphira says you remind her of the elves back home."

"Do I? I hope your elves are more pleasant than most of those back in Toril."

Eragon took in the information as he got it.
"Do the gods on your world have realms of influence? Is there something that he specializes in that you rally behind? Alagaesia does not really have these, gods, per se, so I must apologize but the entire concept is new to me."

He sighed with some exasperation, not directed at Eragon. "The elves already on the surface, while happy to abandon their old Court to start with, suddenly decided they wanted it back once their 'cursed' kindred began making actual use of it - I'm sure yours are above that. Then there are the spider-kissers and the dancers. There's dispute, you see, as to just which of the gods has, or should have, drow in their 'realm of influence.'"
