Closed RP for Rachel and Ivy: It's a talking house-plant!

Jul 03, 2007 13:39

There had been a good reason that Ivy Tamwood had been away for so long. Originally, she'd intended for her leave to take only a week or so, but what she had to get done ended up taking far longer than a week.

It tended to twist ones head around, going from practicing, to non-practicing, back to practicing again. For the months that Rachel had been here, Ivy had tried going back to living without blood. It had been easier. But upon her own arrival at this castle, it became painfully obvious that she was going to have to slake her blood-lust. Luckily, she'd set up a few contacts in Hogmeade. Ivy didn't like it, for reasons best left alone, but if she were to keep her sanity, it had to be done.

But this, right now, this wasn't about her. A large part of her visit had been dedicated to retrieving personal things, and there was a truck waiting outside with Rachel's name on it. Well, not that her name was actually on the truck, just on the paperwork, but it amounted to the same thing. Rachel's plants, kitchen stuff, copper pots, CDs; everything she had in the church was in the truck.

Rachel's car, on the other hand, was hidden around the other side of the castle. Ivy couldn't resist introducing Rachel's things back to her one at a time, just for the surprise value.

Armed with a rather large house-plant (a small silver birch transferred into a plastic pot, one that had originally been in Rachel's garden), Ivy all but staggered into Gryffindor. Her vamp strength allowed her to lift the damn thing, but it was still freaking heavy, not to mention the fact that it obscured her face. Finally finding Rachel's room, Ivy kicked the door open.

"Rachel?" She called, muffled by the plant. "I hope you're here so that you can tell me where to put this thing, otherwise there's going to be soil all over the carpet soon!"
