"It's my birthday today, sort of. Close enough to call it my birthday even though I'm not even born yet..." Jack paused. "Confusing story. For those who don't know me I'm Captain Jack Harkness. And yes it's my birthday so I'm going to have some fun before I get dragged off to work later. So long as it doesn't turn out to be some form of fire breathing mutated plant I'll be happy. I just want to stay in bed tonight. I think I'm getting old..." There is a long drawn out weight of the world on my shoulders sigh before an equally long pause. "But I'm not, because I can't.
