Jemima climbed the steps to the owlery, the board game that the Sorting Hat had given her under her arm. Once inside, she began to write out a letter to someone in Gryffindor, named Strong Sad...
Dear Strong Sad,
Hello! I'm Jemima, from Hufflepuff. Nice to meet you! At my sorting, the Hat told me to write you an owl so that we can play board games sometime. I do love games, and I think it'd be really fun! She tied the letter and the board game to a nearby owl's leg, and watched it soar out the window. She then proceeded back down the stairs, a slight spring in her step at the hopes of meeting a new friend.
