Tyrion nods, then indicates the blaster. "How does that work?" he wants to know. Coming from a quasi-medieval world, Han's weapon is way far removed from anything he's ever seen.

*Han glanced down at the blaster in his hand briefly before grinning*

"This, is the DL-44 heavy blaster, I've made a lot of special modifications myself but in essence, it's similar to a slug thrower. However, the blaster uses a combination of gas and power to fire blaster bolts, basically high powered laser beams."

*Han holds up the pistol slightly, geturing to the power pack and gas chamber*

*Han shrugs, thinking of Luke and Leia's lightsabers* "Guess it depends on the sword but I've always said one is no match for a good blaster at your side. As for this voting thing... I dunno, someone said something about Gryffindor being for the brave, sounds good to me, I'm not so much for some of that other stuff."
