It really pisses me off now royally.
First I got a model plane this week from friend from the club (way bigger then the little ones I usually fly), which took a long time to assemble and flew exactly one meter today. Then it fell to the ground, in big long soft grass, breaking its propeller. I glued it together and now -. the fucking stupid thing won't start its engine anymore. WTF? There is no visual damage to it and this little crash should have caused about zero damage anyway. Now I need to tell our friend that i probably broke it. Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
Edit - about an hour later it suddenly works again. Well, at least something that worls again.
Also I got a new mainboard today. This morning I tried to burn a CD with the main PC and even this simple task made it freeze up hard.
Duh.
So in the new mobo went, reinstalled drivers (I left the OS on since the chipsets are similar enough) and after half an hour or so it seemed to be running fine, everything recognized etc.
So i tried burning a CD. And so it froze up AGAIN.
Huh?
So I changed the following parts already:
- VGA card
- RAM
- HDD
- mainboard
Doesn't leave too much to replace anymore, I seriously doubt it is the CPU. What I noticed though is that the CPU fan stopped spinning after a few minutes, either this new mainboard thought it was not hot enough to warrant spinning, or that thing is broke and overheated my CPU in the last few weeks, causing it to malfunction as described above.
If that happened, I am *so* fucking pissed, its not funny anymore.
I'm still convinced that my problem is not due to a faulty OS installation, since that usually does not result in a total freeze of the system. With the older Windows versions maybe, but since 2K and XP I've never seen a system freeze up hard due to an OS malfunction, only due to hardware problems.
Fuck. I'm sick of it really.
