yay for an update
Alrighty.. so lots has happened lately but i just cant think right now so im gonna do the best i can.. cuz im tired as hell.
Ok so we have had a couple rushes for KY so far.. 18 people on the first day 2 on the second day.
As far as classes.. i feel like i just cannot keep up.. tho i am doing very well in all my classes so far.. and enjoying being a smart ass in pharmacology ... lol just kidding.. but im glad most of this comes easy to me.
Today was very very exciting.. first off i had another periodontal patient.. she was 59 years old.. and very sweet.. took me forever to finish her and i think i was pretty much the last person finishing a patient in the clinic.. but at least i got another patient completion.. and im happy.
I also got to do something very fun.. i got to place sealants today.. one of my typodont then 2 on my partner in class. it was pretty sweet cuz i even got to use a dental burr (drill) to drill down any high spots where the occlusion wasnt exact. I think i did a really good job on them so i am happy. next week i have to finish two more on my partner then she is doing 4 on me. it seems like a simple procedure but it is kinda involved and scary considering u are using 35% phosporic acid etch to roughen the surface for the sealant to adhere to the tooth and also placing the sealant is hard becuz u dont wanna screw up a persons occlusion so bad that it takes u like 30 mins to drill it down.
anyway.. so all that was fun today.
tomorrow is my butt fricken long day.. i know i have a quiz first thing in the morning.. and maybe i will finally get to find out my test grade in theory.
i recently became a tutor for the first year dental hygiene oral science 1 course.. so im excited to make a little more money.. but unfortunately my time will be used up even more.. so basically like all of my studying will have to be primarily done on weekends and fridays.
i also have a lot of kappa psi stuff hanging over my head.. pledging will be starting soon and that takes up alot of time in the beginning.. with making the pledge books.. but oh well i will get thru it somehow.
i also have the province communications committee to work on before midyear.. as well as 3 tests i have in one day in about 2 weeks from tomorrow.
I have website updating to do.. as well as stupid busy work assignments for my classes..
oh well.. maybe thigns will slow down after a while.
i serious studied well over 15 hours.. closer to 20 hours or more.. this weekend.. and i feel like i hardly got anything accomplished.. oh well.. i will catch up someday. the only thing that is bothering me is the fact that im stressed out and im getting bad chest pains from it. :-(
ok well i have 830am class.. so i best hop in bed.. night everyone!
