quick update
so basically life has been uneventful.. classes are still interesting but are tiring me out pretty quick.. i feel like i dont have much energy anymore. i volunteered to tutor oral science to first yr dh students, not sure when im going to be able to start.. but its a paid positions so extra moola for me i guess.
kappa psi has been very busy as well.. always the beginning of school busy-ness.
i had my first patient of the semester last week on thurs.. it was very rewarding.. made me feel even better about my career choice.
im really excited.. im going to get to go to midyear.. in buffalo :-) new york rocks my socks off.
speaking of new york im pissed that she is back on the flavor of love show.. grrr...
my parents visited me last friday.. they liked what ive done with my room.. we went out to eat at peppers.. good stuff.
homecoming is a month away.. gonna creep up very soon.. im excited.. but ill be sad it will be my last one as an active member..
today marked the 5th year anniversary of the terrorist attack in new york city... the day that everyone will remember forever.. where they were when the planes hit the twin towers.. the day the world saw the evil that exists... cnn's special report made me cry many times today... all of those innocent people that lost their lives to people that dont believe in a free world. thinking back to the day i saw people give up and jump out of windows hundreds of feet in the air, the look on president bush's face when he was notified of the attacks, and the worst when i saw hysterical people crying searching for their missing family members and friends.. posters lining the streets of new york.. only to find out that their loved one was only another innocent victim killed. god bless america and let us never forget the heros that day that died so others may have a chance to live.. all of the firefighters and police officers and even civilians.. will be remembered forever..
