Catch up time....
Ok, well I havent written for about a
week so here is the updates!
First of all...my week went well. I am starting to get back on track
and thats the important thing right now. Steph and I hung out a lot
this week and that truly helped my mood. Mick and I are not going
anywhere I don't think. I am not going to be sucked into mind games and
I am not really intrested in someone who can say one thing and do
another without respect for other peoples feelings. So...therefore I
think thats pretty much old history.
GAMES! Two games this weekend ya'll. Friday we left for Baltimore, Maryland for our first two games and we came back 1-1-0. For thoes of you who dont know...that means 1 win, 1 loss, and 0 ties. We lost our first game 7-3 but we also played a really shitty first two periods and only began to pick it up in the third. I got about 5 shifts in and loved every second of it. Eeexxcceeepptt when I got hit into the boards head first by a big dude who didn't realize I was a girl. Not that it should matter cuz i'm tough and I got myself into this in the first place...but it was a nasty hit even for a guy to take. Anyway I split my lip and had a pretty sick bruise over my eye and a bit of a headache but I went out there for another two shifts. Today we won 5-2 and it was a really decent game. The other team was nasty and cheated a lot and to be honest I was a little nervous to go out but I had two good chances at goals and I know one of these days i'm gonna get a few! The guys said I played a really good two games and that makes me really happy. It means a lot to know that I am not making a fool outta myself out there. I love the game and love the guys and to know that I fit in makes me happy. The roadtrip itself was pretty intresting too. 6 hours in cramped vans with thoes boyz is not my idea of a fun time...but I got used to it. It was quite the overall experience to say the least.
On other news...I quit my job. The hours they wanted me to work and the demands they had set out for me were not going to work with my schedule and I didn't want to risk my grades slipping or my social life going to shambles. lol. I will maybe find another job around campus...it won't pay as much...but at least i'll have some extra spending money.
Mom and Dad you might wanna prepare yourself for this one. I got my toung peirced. I wanted to do something totally different and fun and steph and I did it together. She already had hers peirced but she got a tatoo on her foot...its really pretty...and I got my toung done. It hurts kinda bad right now but I can still talk and it will heal in about a week and half or so. I like it and I think it adds pizazzz. Its not grose either. I am not the type of girl to flaunt it or use or for other reasons other then just a fun lil fashion statment. Oh well....hope you arent flipping out right now...haha. You'll see it when I get home!
Adam and Megs I cannot WAIT to see you guys when I get home. I am soooo excited!!! I can't wait for November to roll around! I miss my family and friends so much! It sure is true that absense makes the heart grow fonder. I love you all soooo much!!! And if my pets could read I would tell them how much I love them too. Maybe mom, you could give them some treats and say they're from me. lol. Oh well...bye bye for now. I'm exhausted and I've got a lotta work to do tomorrow. Night Night! -Bella
