does anyone else hear these helicopters?

Slowly I begin to accept the idea of science as a description or interpretation of the world, not as THE answer and root of every question. The more physics I take, the closer I read every textbook, the easier and smoother it becomes to say that science is not efficient or anywhere near complete in its explanations. The plant lives because there is sufficient light to excite the valence electrons of the chlorophyll, sending them through the cytochrome complex and allowing the storage of photic energy in simple sugars which are later utilized.

It's hard to find any discipline that can answer broad questions like why. Theology is probably as close as you can get.
