a dollar to the sad-sack who can riddle me that movie quote. I know I'm gonna owe like thirty dollars, so that bet was fake before any of you come knocking on my door. HA!
We-hell! S'been too long. So I'mma run down most of the huge things that went down since my last post, which was like, the end of may.
Numero Uno: Prior to our wedding, some mofo blew through a red and wrecked the Blockade Runner. That's right, they killed my fucking car. Like two weeks before the wedding. So I got a 92 Tempo that was sitting in Jen's dad's driveway. It became dubbed "the Red Right Hand". About one month later, after a slew of engine problems, the Red Right Hand catches fire due to the large amount of engine oil that ended up on the manifold. It too, was deep-sixed and donated. So I get a loan, and I am now the proud owner of a 98 Subaru Legacy Outback that is in need of a name. But now I owe my damn soul, and am back working a couple midnite's at Timmie's to make it up.
* The wedding was absoulutely wonderful, despite having our island rained out, forcing us to move the ceremony to the reception area on the beach. The Red Right Hand BARELY got us there, taking us ten hour there and back due to frequent overheatings. But the ceremony was wonderful, we got to canoe away in a "Just Married" canoe courtesy of Jen's dad, and there was much barbecue from the fine fellows that bring us Schottshire Campout. We enjoyed our first few days of married life maxin' and relaxin' in beautiful Ludington State Park, which Violet enjoyed as well.
* Violet turned the big TWO in August, making her officially a terrible twoster. And a terrible toaster. Nevermind. She's so big and beautiful and smart, and I don't care that I'm her dad and have a bias, but she's a mad genius for a two-year old, I think. That Sass of hers has gotta go.
*I finally graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wayne Mother-fuckin' State University. And I'm still working retail joints and writing about zip to nil. Go FIG. That will be worked on. and So will the pub, got-dang it. Getting some mad ideas for that place and getting in touch with more business owners who might be able to help out with the planning process.
*This is the big one, for those of you who don't already know, Jen and I are preggers with a second baby! Tha's right! Another man-cub on the way! We just found out two fridays ago, and we're very excited. We'll be expecting in May, giving Jen that months and the rest of summer to spend with our lil' dear. Jen's sufferin' the first trimester blues, which will hopefully subside soon. Our doctor appointment is tomorrow, and we will keep things posted.
That's the summation of things. I'm gonna make an effort to post more often, but time is short.
That's all I got, so slag OFF!
