Appearance: Carolina has long, medium brown hair that falls in straight. It’s thin enough to keep her cool in the summer but thick enough to keep her warm in winter. Her face is very round and has pale skin that looks almost translucent. She’s 5’4” tall and weighs around 125 pounds. She has strong legs from pushing her brother around so much, though her arms were not neglected. Lina looks a lot like her mother, but she shares the trademark blue-green eyes of her brother.
Personality: Lina is a little more outgoing than her brother, mainly because she had to be. With Chris so reserved and quiet, Lina had to do all the talking to people and thus became very friendly in the process. She’s studious, like her brother, but would much prefer to go out with her friends than studying. She’s relatively popular and well liked, but always fulfills her duties to Chris before anything else. Her brother is her number one concern.
Like most Gryffindors, Carolina is brave and protective of her loved ones. She’ll always defend her friends and her brother’s honor, no matter what. She has little patience for those who don’t give her the respect she needs. And she has even fewer patience for those who look at her brother wrong.
Biography: Carolina Kirk was born on October 22, 2003 five minutes after her brother Christian. Their parents, Doug and Susan, were both older, 37, and had twins in their families so it was no surprise to see Chris and Lina. The Kirks live in Manchester, England in a middle class Muggle house. Doug is a physician and Susan is a dental hygienist.
Chris and Lina were inseparable as children and played together all the time, usually in the pine trees around their house. One day when they were seven, Chris slipped from one of the highest branches. Carolina held out her hand to catch him, but it did no good and he hit the ground anyway. They rushed him to the hospital but he was still paralyzed from the waist down. Even that boggled the doctor’s minds. At his weight and the height of the tree, he should have been dead from the fall. Something must have slowed down his fall. With a laugh, Doug said, “It must have been magic.”
He knew he was right when their Hogwarts letters came. But Doug wasn’t laughing then. Him and his wife worried that the school wasn’t wheelchair accessible. But the Headmistress assured them that they would make his school years as comfortable as possible. And so Carolina and Christian started their years at Hogwarts. They were both sorted into Gryffindor.
Carolina and Christian still see each other very often, only having one class apart from each other and that would be art classes. They share the same friends and they spend Sundays walking around the ground. They attend every Quidditch practice together, though neither of them are on the team, they just enjoy the time together and watching something so graceful as Quidditch.
