(no subject)
So according to JKR herself, the final word of the Harry Potter series is not scar anymore. *gasps*
More than 4 years ago, we thought it’d be it and I wrote four silly endings, the only restriction being that the final word had to be scar.
Originally written in French here, in honor of HP Month, I’ve translated them.
Fairy Tale Ending
They lived happily ever after and had a lot of children. No one ever troubled again the boy with the scar.
Mysterious Ending
Voldemort dead, Harry could finally begin a normal life. However, on his 21st birthday, he woke up with a start, an intense burning sensation in his scar.
Silly Random Ending
‘The tables have turned, Potter!’ Voldemort shouted, brandishing his wand before a helpless Harry.
‘You really think so?’
The Dark Lord turned around to catch sight of two shapes drawing on him. Ron and Hermione were swifter to act.
‘Rogerus Rabbita!’
Voldemort gave a dire shriek and smoke poured out of his body.
‘Waaaaaaaaahh! Waahhhhhhh! I'm melting! Melting..,melting...’
‘This time it’s over Harry!’ said Hermione, dashing for him.
She didn’t see Voldemort’s hand raising to cast a final spell.
‘Look out!’ Harry screamed.
Ron drew out his lightsaber and severed the Dark Lord’s hand. Voldemort died for good with a last grumble.
‘Argh grumblbl sniff scar.’
Men In Black Ending
‘Okay, I think he’s really gone now,’ said Harry, exchanging a knowing glance with his friends.
The body of the wizard who had been terrifying the Magical World for decades was now lying in the gutter of a Muggle street in London. Suddenly, some huge black cars pulled in and men in black suits got out. One of them, a young Black guy, stepped forward.
‘Hi! Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it!’
‘You?’ asked Hermione.
‘But you’re a Muggle!’ Ron cried out.
‘Hey, Kay!’ called out the Black guy.
A grey-haired man came to mee them.
‘What’s the problem, Junior?’
‘What’s a Muggle? Some kind of new species?’
‘Just neutralize them, okay?’
‘Okay.’ He put sunglasses on and spoke to the three wizards. ‘So,’ he said, holding up a strange metallic stick. ‘Please look directly at the end of this device.’
FLASH !
‘Thank God you were here!’ he said to the three teenagers still blinded by the intense light.
‘Wha... what?’ Harry asked.
‘You found this unconscious man and reported it to us.’
‘Oh... right...’ Hermione said unconvincingly.
‘Hey Jay, you’re done? We’re taking off.’
‘Yeah man, coming.’
The men in black left as quickly as they had arrived, taking Voldemort’s body with them.
‘What the hell are we doing here?’ Ron asked.
‘I have no idea’, said Harry, reaching to his sore forehead
Hermione gave him an bewildered look.
"Where did you get that scar?’
